Agentic AI Engineer
Envorso Sports · Seattle, WA (Hybrid) or Remote, US · Full-time
About Envorso Sports
Envorso Sports builds the platform that runs a professional sports team's entire fan-facing business, ticketing, website, and mobile app, from one system instead of six disconnected vendors, with commerce, CRM, and marketing automation on the near-term roadmap. The platform is live in production today with the Seattle Seawolves of Major League Rugby, with expansion planned across the league and into other professional sports organizations.
What You'll Do
- Design and ship agentic product features: fan scoring, segmentation, and an offers engine that proposes campaigns instead of reporting on fan behavior.
- Build the front-end for those features on web (Next.js) and mobile, so agent output reaches marketers and fans, not just an API.
- Build and own internal agent tooling: guardrails, PR-review agents, spec-driven test generation, and agents that keep frontend and backend in sync as contracts change.
- Set the standard for model selection, cost, and evaluation across the team, and mentor engineers adopting agentic workflows.
- Own agent quality: catch shallow or overfit output, define what good looks like, and make failures visible instead of silent.
- Own the full lifecycle of what you build: design, evaluation, deployment, monitoring, and iteration.
What You Bring
- 3+ years of software engineering, with at least 1 year building and shipping AI/LLM-powered applications in production.
- Real multi-agent design experience: tool use, memory, and orchestration, not a single prompt-and-response wrapper.
- Strong TypeScript, comfortable in a Next.js app and an API-service codebase; Python a plus.
- Full-stack enough to ship end to end, including web (React/Next.js) and ideally mobile (React Native or native iOS/Android).
- Ability to explain what an agent is doing, where it breaks, and why, to a non-ML engineer or product partner.
- Some experience leading or mentoring engineers, even informally, and comfort operating with ambiguity.
- Nice to have: reliable schema-valid LLM output over structured data; a marketing automation, personalization, or commerce/payments (Stripe) background.
- Must be authorized to work in the US; no employer-sponsored visas for this role.
Compensation and Benefits
- $145,000 base, plus bonus and benefits.
- Direct exposure to team owners and sports executives, live deployments and paying customers today, and early influence over engineering practice and culture.
How hiring works here
To apply for this role, you must create an account on provn.co and submit all required application artifacts. Resume only applications may be considered, but candidates who complete a full application are reviewed with priority.
Referrals are king for getting an interview. But what if you don't have a referral? Applying with Provn is designed to help you get more interviews. Instead of sending a cold resume into an ATS and waiting, you will complete a challenge built by Envorso Sports and submit a short video walking through your approach. No time limit. No timers. No restrictions on AI usage. Show how you build with AI.
Why that works in your favor
- You show how you actually build and ship with coding agents, instead of hoping a resume communicates your skill clearly.
- Your judgment with AI becomes visible, which no "proficient with AI coding agents" resume bullet can prove.
- One challenge puts you in front of the engineering team, scored on the work. Priority without a referral!
- The hiring manager reviews every completed submission, and strongest candidates go straight to an interview round. No referral needed. Performance over pedigree. Proof over polish.
