American Traveler is seeking a Mobile MRI Technologist with 2+ years of experience for a 13-week outpatient assignment requiring ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification and proficiency with general and advanced MRI procedures including cardiac and breast imaging.

Outpatient clinic setting in a mobile MRI unit

Primary schedule is 5x8-hour shifts, Monday–Friday (12:30 PM–9:00 PM); 4x10 or 3x12 shift configurations may also be considered

Some Saturdays required (8:00 AM–4:00 PM); when a Saturday is worked, only 4 weekday shifts are worked that week to maintain a 40-hour week

No on-call requirement

Procedures include general MRI exams, implants, elastography, defecography, breast MRI, and cardiac MRI

Siemens MRI equipment experience required; Sectra PACS experience preferred

Charting is performed in Epic; Epic experience is preferred

May be required to float between two nearby clinic locations

Minimum of 2 years of MRI technologist experience

Current BLS certification (AHA only)

ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification required; state license is not required but may be applicable — license required if applicable

Proficiency in general MRI exams, implants, elastography, defecography, breast MRI, and cardiac MRI

Experience with Siemens MRI equipment required

Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to qualify for the standard travel rate; local candidates within 60 miles may be considered on a case-by-case basis

SSN and valid Driver's License required for consideration

2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration

First-time travelers are accepted for this position

Previous permanent or PRN staff at any MUSC location must have been separated from the system for at least 1 year before being eligible to work as a traveler

All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of submission; approval is based on manager and unit needs

Online modules are completed prior to the start of the assignment

Teal top and black pants are the required scrub colors

A radiation badge is required and must be provided by the agency; the facility does not supply radiation badges to travelers

Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season (June–November), all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams; peak activity months are August and September
