You will work on a variety of outdoor construction projects, utilizing your skills in carpentry, building materials, and special effects to create captivating environments. Responsibilities
- Collaborate with design teams to interpret technical drawings and construction plans for haunted attraction setups.
- Construct and install themed structures, including walls, doors, windows, flooring, and decorative elements using hand tools and power tools.
- Manage the installation of specialty features such as lighting, electrical components, plumbing fixtures, and special effects to enhance the attraction experience.
- Operate heavy equipment safely during large-scale construction tasks on outdoor projects.
- Perform inspections of construction sites to ensure safety protocols are followed and quality standards are met throughout all phases of build.
- Coordinate with team members to execute remodeling, stucco work, caulking, tile laying, cabinet installation, and trim carpentry for detailed set pieces.
- Ensure all work aligns with construction plans and specifications while adhering to strict safety guidelines.
Skills
- Extensive experience with building construction, including framing, drywall, plastering, and finishing techniques.
- Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings and blueprints for complex projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction estimating and project management principles.
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, window installation tools, and heavy equipment operation.
- Background in electrical work, plumbing installation, tile laying, flooring installation, and cabinet hanging preferred.
- Outdoor work experience on various construction projects is highly desirable.
- Ability to follow safety protocols diligently while working on active construction sites.
- Experience with remodeling projects involving stucco application and caulking techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on detail-oriented craftsmanship in building material installation.
