Local, family owned and operated statewide food distribution business is seeking self-motivated individuals to join our team as we grow.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a non-CDL delivery vehicle to transport goods to customers' locations in a timely manner.
- Utilize communication skills to interact with customers and provide excellent customer service during deliveries.
- Perform heavy lifting and moving of goods, ensuring proper handling and delivery to designated locations.
- Utilize warehouse experience to efficiently load and unload delivery vehicles using equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Follow designated routes for delivery, ensuring on-time and accurate deliveries to customers.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle and warehouse space.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while performing delivery and warehouse tasks.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
- Demonstrate proficiency in operating manual transmission vehicles and handling various types of delivery equipment.
- Continuously improve delivery processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and customer experience.
