This is a full-ownership Starbucks leadership role in a high-foot-traffic location. If you’re an experienced store leader who knows how to run a high-performing operation and build a team that lasts, we’d like to talk.
The Opportunity
As the Coffeehouse Leader at this Starbucks location, you will have complete ownership of a vibrant, high-foot-traffic café with no drive-thru. This is an active, high-energy store with strong guest volume and a built-in community that returns again and again. You will have the space to make it your own, lead at a high level, and create an experience that keeps guests coming back every day.
You will be the face of the store to your community, the standard-setter for your team, and the primary driver of performance. Day to day, that means being present on the floor, leading by example, and bringing out the best in the people around you. You will have the support and resources to lead with confidence and grow as a leader in this role.
This location is positioned to be a genuine community anchor — a place people count on as part of their daily routine. For the right leader, it is an opportunity to build something meaningful and lasting.
What You’ll Do
- Lead all daily store operations end-to-end — staffing, scheduling, inventory, financial performance, and service standards — as the store’s primary leader and decision-maker
- Manage a larger team across multiple shifts, maintaining consistency, accountability, and a strong culture even when you’re not in the building
- Recruit, develop, and retain high-performing partners, building a bench of talent that supports store stability and your own ability to grow
- Drive performance across all key metrics — sales, customer experience scores, and labor efficiency — with a data-informed, results-focused approach
- Be a visible, hands-on presence on the floor, modeling Starbucks craft and hospitality standards and reinforcing the behaviors that create loyal guests
- Own the guest experience from open to close, identifying and resolving issues quickly and instilling a culture of continuous improvement
- Partner with leadership on store strategy, development priorities, and broader initiatives that support the team and the business
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of store management experience in a retail, food & beverage, or coffeehouse environment — with a track record of strong operational results
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a larger team, maintaining culture and performance standards across multiple shifts
- Strong financial acumen — you understand your P&L drivers, manage labor thoughtfully, and treat the business like it’s yours
- A people-first leader who builds loyalty on both sides of the counter — with your team and with your guests
- Composed and decisive when the pace picks up — you keep your team grounded and the guest experience on point no matter how busy it gets
- Excellent communication and coaching skills; you hold high standards with care and develop people while holding the bar
- Availability to work full time including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- High school diploma or GED required; Starbucks or specialty coffee experience strongly preferred
