Licensed Esthetician / Advanced Skincare Specialist Overview
We are looking for a highly motivated Licensed Esthetician with advanced skincare knowledge to join our growing aesthetics team. This is not just a treatment-room position. We are looking for someone who can help us build, shape, and grow this role within our practice.
The ideal candidate is passionate about skin health, client education, results-driven treatments, and creating an elevated client experience. You should be confident performing professional skincare services, recommending treatment plans, supporting retail and product sales, and staying current with advanced skincare trends and techniques.

Responsibilities
Perform professional esthetic treatments such as customized facials, dermaplaning, chemical peels, extractions, body waxing, and other advanced skincare services based on licensure and training.
Conduct thorough skin consultations and provide personalized treatment plans based on each client’s skin type, concerns, and goals.
Educate clients on proper skincare routines, product recommendations, and post-treatment care to help them achieve the best results.
Maintain excellent sanitation, infection control, and safety standards in accordance with state board and practice guidelines.
Support the development of esthetic protocols, treatment menus, service flow, and client experience standards.
Document treatments, client concerns, recommendations, and progress accurately in the practice system or EMR.
Promote skincare products and services in an honest, professional, and educational manner.
Stay current with industry trends, advanced treatments, product knowledge, and continuing education.
Work closely with the team to create a welcoming, professional, and high-quality client experience.
Help identify opportunities to improve services, grow the skincare program, and increase client retention.
Qualifications
Current Esthetician License required.
Strong knowledge of skin anatomy, skin conditions, skincare ingredients, and treatment planning.
Experience with advanced skincare treatments such as chemical peels, dermaplaning, acne treatments, anti-aging facials, or corrective skincare preferred.
Laser experience is a plus, if properly trained and certified according to state regulations.
Strong consultation and client education skills.
Professional, reliable, detail-oriented, and eager to grow.
Comfortable recommending products and services without being pushy.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently while also being part of a collaborative team.
Interest in helping build and grow the esthetician role within the practice.
