Job Summary-Assistant Project Manager
Montgomery Door LLC – Pinehurst, Texas
Montgomery Door LLC is seeking an organized and motivated Assistant Project Manager to support our commercial door, frame, and hardware projects. This position will assist project managers with submittals, detailing, purchasing, scheduling, deliveries, and project documentation from award through completion.
Responsibilities
- Review project plans, specifications, hardware schedules, and approved submittals.
- Assist with detailing commercial doors, frames, and hardware.
- Prepare and maintain submittals, purchase orders, change orders, and project files.
- Request pricing and lead times from vendors.
- Track material orders, production schedules, and delivery dates.
- Coordinate with customers, contractors, vendors, estimators, and warehouse personnel.
- Monitor project status and communicate upcoming deadlines or potential delays.
- Verify quantities, product information, finishes, handing, and job requirements.
- Assist with resolving shortages, damaged material, and order discrepancies.
- Help ensure projects remain organized, accurate, and on schedule.
Qualifications
- Commercial door, frame, and hardware experience preferred.
- Detailing or construction project coordination experience strongly preferred.
- Ability to read architectural plans, specifications, and hardware schedules.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for project tracking, schedules, and reporting.
- Experience using Bluebeam to review plans, specifications, and construction documents.
- Experience using Procore for project documentation, submittals, RFIs, and communication.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Ability to learn additional estimating and project-management software.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.

- Compensation based on experience
Montgomery Door LLC is a growing commercial door, frame, and hardware distributor serving contractors and commercial projects. We are looking for someone who takes ownership of their work, pays close attention to detail, and wants to grow into a larger project-management role.
Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
