We are looking for an adaptable, highly reliable Flex Security Officer to secure client facilities, prevent vandalism, and provide exceptional customer service. In this role, you will seamlessly transition between high-profile front desks, access control points, and mobile patrol driving company vehicles.
Position Requirements
To succeed in this role, you must meet the following criteria:
- Availability: Must be available 5–7 days a week (including mandatory weekends) to cover on-call grave shifts (11:00 PM – 7:30 AM).
- Geographic Range: Ability to travel to and handle any of our sites ranging from Gilroy, CA to San Jose, CA.
Credentials:
- Valid California Guard Card (REQUIRED)
- Valid California Driver's License with a clean DMV record (REQUIRED to operate company patrol vehicles)
- Ability to prove US citizenship or legal U.S. Permanent Residency (REQUIRED)
- Skills & Fit:
- Excellent report writing skills (REQUIRED)
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
- A friendly, professional attitude for high-level, front-facing client interactions
- Reliable personal transportation to get to your assigned starting sites
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct mobile and foot patrols of assigned client sites.
- Utilize TrackTik to perform scans and log activity throughout your shift.
- Maintain clear, professional communication via phone and email with dispatchers, fellow officers, and management.
- Provide exceptional customer service and access control at front desk positions.
Flex Officer PolicyFlexibility is the core of this role. You may be called for a shift anywhere from 1 hour to 2 days in advance. To maintain Flex status and the premium pay rate, officers must adhere to the availability agreement signed upon hire. Declining three or more shifts within a 30-day period may result in a status review or removal from the flex pool.
