Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented New Construction Cleaner to join our team. This role involves performing thorough cleaning and finishing tasks on newly constructed buildings to ensure they meet high standards of cleanliness and safety. Duties
- Clean and prepare new construction sites, including removing debris, dust, and leftover materials
- Perform detailed cleaning of floors, walls, windows, and fixtures using appropriate tools and cleaning agents
- Apply floor cleaning techniques
- Conduct custodial tasks including trash removal, sanitation of restrooms, and surface disinfecting
- Maintain equipment and supplies to ensure efficient operation during cleaning tasks
- Follow safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment
- Collaborate with construction teams to coordinate cleaning schedules and address specific site needs
Qualifications
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning, industrial cleaning, or janitorial services is preferred
- Knowledge of floor care procedures including buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing
- Experience with custodial duties such as sanitation and debris removal
- Familiarity with facilities maintenance or porter responsibilities is a plus
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a physically demanding environment
- Prior experience in residential painting or construction site cleanup is advantageous
- Reliable transportation and the ability to adhere to scheduled shifts are essential
