We are a demolition/excavation company looking for an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator/Laborer. Class A Driver’s License with Lowbed, High-Side, End Dump EXPERIENCE. At least 2 years of heavy equipment operator experience is required. Must have Class A. Must have clean driver record.
I. Job Summary
Operates a wide variety of heavy equipment for a demolition/excavation company.
II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
This job includes general maintenance on equipment, heavy physical labor, operating heavy equipment, and operating crushing equipment including:
· Excavators
· Dozers
· Crushing Equipment
· Bobcats
· Loaders
· Other Heavy Equipment
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each of the essential duties listed below satisfactorily this includes but is not limited to;
. Driver Class A - Lowbed and High-side End Dump experience a must.
· Operating heavy equipment in compliance with the company operating safety policies and procedures.
. Perform heavy physical labor
. Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs. periodically during shifts when necessary
· Conducting routine equipment inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment.
· Following appropriate standard operating procedures as guidelines for operating and maintaining vehicle.
. Operate a variety of tools safely, including but not limited to: skill saw, sawzall, and drill
. Ability to operate basic equipment such as forklift, skid loader, water pump, etc.
. Load, unload, and identify building materials, machinery, and tools, and distribute them to the appropriate locations and/or personnel
· Performing other duties as assigned.
III. Qualifications
The requirements listed below are representative of the qualifications necessary to perform the job.
. CLASS A Driver Lic. in good standing. Clean driver record.
· At least two (2) years of previous heavy equipment operator experience.
Compensation DOE. Our main office is located in Placerville, but our job sites vary across Sacramento, Placer, and El Dorado County.
