Experienced Dermatology and Mohs Surgical Assistant
Medical/surgical practice focused on providing the highest level of customer service to patients seeks experienced dermatology medical assistant with experience as a Mohs surgical assistant. Prior Mohs surgical assisting experience needed. In this position you will be responsible for assisting the physician with all aspects of patient care, including obtaining medical histories, triage calls, assisting with surgical procedures, assisting with wound care and bandage placement, and interacting directly with patients regarding their medical care.
Data entry skills and general computer/office skills are essential for this position. Successful candidate must have excellent clinical, organizational, and interpersonal skills coupled with strong communication skills to successfully interact with patients, physicians, and co-workers. The position requires a friendly personality and a calm demeanor in order to communicate effectively with patients. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
