Commercial Diesel Mechanic – Full Time & Part Time RJ Hallisey Truck Repair – Wakefield, MA
RJ Hallisey Truck Repair specializes in servicing light, medium, and heavy-duty trucks, and we are looking for a dependable, knowledgeable mechanic who can confidently diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of diesel vehicles and equipment.
We are looking for:
- experienced diesel mechanic
- mid-level diesel mechanic
Our shop services commercial trucks and heavy-duty equipment, and we are looking for mechanics who are confident diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel-powered vehicles in a fast-paced environment.
Position Details:
- Full-time and part-time positions available
- Monday–Friday
- Saturdays available for extra hours
- Competitive pay based on experience
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair heavy-duty diesel trucks
- Perform engine, brake, suspension, hydraulic, and electrical repairs
- Complete preventative maintenance
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
- Work independently and alongside other mechanics
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Qualifications:
- 2–3 years of mechanic or diesel repair experience
- Experience in diesel or commercial truck repair
- Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced repair shop
- Reliable, hardworking, and motivated
- CDL preferred but not required
- Reliable transportation and strong work ethic
