We're looking for an experienced Equipment Repair Technician with strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills to join our team. If you've repaired industrial equipment, pumps, motors, HVAC systems, compressors, forklifts, generators, or small engines, we'd like to speak with you.
This position focuses on diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining commercial pressure-washing equipment. You'll receive hands-on training during your first 30–60 days at our Tucker branch before transitioning into a combination of shop and field service work.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial pressure washers, small engines, and mechanical/electrical systems
- Perform mechanical, electrical, and engine-related maintenance
- Read and complete handwritten service orders (penmanship required)
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Assist with general shop duties (cleaning, tool organization, staging equipment)
- Perform occasional field repairs (company vehicle provided when applicable)
- Follow all company safety procedures
Qualifications
- Electrical knowledge is REQUIRED.
- Understanding of both single-phase and three-phase electrical systems.
- Strong mechanical aptitude; experience as a Millwright, HVAC Tech, Equipment Repair Tech, or Small Engine Mechanic strongly preferred
- Knowledge of small engine components: carburetors, spark plugs, fuel systems, wiring, electrical panels
- Solid engine diagnostics and repair capabilities
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Clean 3-year MVR required
- Excellent handwriting (penmanship test required)
- Comfortable working in a semi–climate-controlled environment
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
- Team-oriented and willing to assist across shop operations
