Job Summary
Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Hotel Night Auditor, where your energetic and detail-oriented approach will ensure seamless overnight operations. In this vital role, you will oversee the nightly financial reconciliation, guest check-ins and check-outs, and maintain exceptional guest services during the quiet hours. Your enthusiasm and professionalism will help create a welcoming environment for guests arriving late or departing early, while ensuring all administrative tasks are completed accurately and efficiently. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be the backbone of our hotel’s overnight operations, combining hospitality management with meticulous attention to detail.
Duties
- Conduct nightly audits of hotel accounts, verifying all financial transactions and ensuring accuracy in billing and reservations.
- Welcome late-arriving guests with friendly, professional service, handling check-ins and check-outs smoothly while providing information about hotel amenities.
- Manage front desk operations using multi-line phone systems, answering guest inquiries with excellent phone etiquette in multiple languages if applicable.
- Prepare detailed shift reports, including daily revenue summaries, incident logs, and maintenance requests to ensure smooth handovers.
- Monitor security systems such as CCTV cameras and perform visual inspections of the property to maintain safety and security standards.
- Assist with guest relations by resolving issues promptly and courteously, ensuring a positive experience for all visitors.
- Support other hotel departments as needed, including coordinating with housekeeping and maintenance to address guest needs efficiently.
- Fold laundry and keep the lobby clean.
Experience
- Previous experience in hotel management or hospitality management roles is highly preferred.
- Proven ability to handle night audit responsibilities with accuracy and efficiency.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and problem resolution.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus to serve our diverse clientele effectively.
- Familiarity with front desk operations, multi-line phone systems, and hotel management software is advantageous.
- Knowledge of hospitality industry standards, including phone etiquette and guest services best practices.
