Position Overview
Evolve Golf is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Print Production Specialist to join our Customworks production team in Wilmington, NC. This role is focused on operating and supporting digital print production equipment used to customize golf accessories and related products.
This is a hands-on production role for someone who takes pride in consistent quality, works well within structured processes, and can keep equipment running efficiently throughout the day. The right candidate will be comfortable setting up print jobs, loading fixtures and materials, monitoring print quality, maintaining clean equipment, and staying organized in a fast-paced production environment.
This is not a general labor position. We are looking for someone with strong production discipline, a sharp eye for detail, and the ability to execute repeatable work with speed, care, and consistency.
Full-time availability is preferred, but we may consider a part-time schedule for a strong candidate with relevant print production, screen printing, digital printing, sign production, promotional product decoration, or similar hands-on production experience.
What You’ll Do
- Set up, operate, and monitor digital production print equipment
- Read and execute work orders accurately and efficiently
- Load fixtures, parts, and materials properly for production runs
- Inspect printed output to ensure alignment, consistency, placement, and overall quality
- Perform routine machine setup, cleaning, calibration checks, and basic adjustments
- Troubleshoot minor print or workflow issues and escalate larger issues appropriately
- Maintain consistent throughput while minimizing waste and rework
- Keep accurate production records and completed work orders organized
- Prepare materials, tooling, and jobs in advance to reduce downtime between runs
- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly workstation at all times
- Support team productivity by helping production stay on schedule
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- At least one of the following preferred:
- Associate degree, technical diploma, or certificate from a trade, technical, or vocational program
- 1–2+ years of relevant experience in print production, manufacturing, machine operation, warehouse operations, equipment operation, or other hands-on production work
- Military, technical, mechanical, logistics, maintenance, or production experience involving tools, equipment, measurement, process discipline, or repeatable production work
- Equivalent combination of hands-on experience, technical aptitude, and willingness to learn
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to follow detailed processes with consistency and accuracy
- Ability to stay organized and productive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Comfort working with equipment, fixtures, tools, and repetitive production tasks
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. with assistance and stand for extended periods
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
Preferred / Strongly Valued Background
- Experience in screen printing, digital printing, UV printing, wide-format printing, sign production, pad printing, promotional product decoration, or related custom print production
- Experience operating automated or semi-automated production equipment
- Familiarity with machine setup, basic maintenance, cleaning, calibration, and troubleshooting
- Experience working from production schedules, job tickets, or work orders
- Comfort checking alignment, registration, placement, print consistency, and finished product quality
- Exposure to print file setup, graphics, or production software is a plus, but not required

Schedule
- Monday to Friday
- Full-time preferred
- Part-time considered for experienced candidates
- 8-hour shifts preferred for full-time employees; 4-hour shifts available for part-time employees
