Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Night Shift Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various machinery and tools to produce high-quality components. This role Produces product by use of swiss style machines. Utilizes measuring equipment to check product produced to ensure it meets print requirements. Maintains a clean, safe and sanitary environment.
Responsibilities
- Follows all company rules and policies.
- Operate and set up Citizen C series, A series, L series, and Hanwha machines.
- Read and understand a blueprint as well as the GD&T symbols used on it.
- Proficient use of hand measuring equipment including but not limited to, micrometers, calipers, thread rings and plugs, gage pins, chamfer checker, ect.
- Proficient use of an optical comparator.
- Proficient use of hand tools such as allen wrenches, box wrenches, screwdrivers, and any other specialty tool required to adjust, maintain, or repair a swiss style machine.
- Complete all quality associated paperwork to ensure production parts are kept within print tolerances.
- Demonstrated ability to offset tooling to maintain size of product.
- Demonstrated ability to change tooling and inserts.
- Demonstrated ability to set drill and boring bar lengths and centerlines.
- Demonstrated ability to adjust guidebushing, main chuck, and sub chuck.
- Demonstrated ability to set up, load, and operate a barfeeder.
- 3+ Years of Experience in a machine shop environment inclusive of setup and operation of Swiss type machines.
- Must be able to work Night Shift of 3:30pm-Midnight

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $33.00 per hour
