Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in mechanical systems
- Familiarity with PVC, CPVC, cast iron, copper, and Victaulic connections
- Knowledge of piping for split systems
- VRV / VRF a plus, but not required
Skills Required:
- Install, repair, and maintain pipes, valves, fittings in commercial and industrial structures
- Layout, assemble, install, and maintain pipe systems, supports, and related mechanical systems from 20” to ¼” diameter
- Follow building plans and blueprints
- Skilled in the use of hand and power tools used in the piping trade
- Effective oral communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project specifications.
- Utilize mechanical knowledge and hand tools to install and repair piping systems.
- Perform welding tasks, including MIG and TIG welding, to ensure structural integrity.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to safety standards.
- Maintain and operate power tools and equipment while following ASME codes and regulations.
- Conduct routine inspections and troubleshoot issues on construction sites.
