Job Summary
Join our team as a Parking Enforcement Officer and become a vital part of maintaining parking regulations and safety within our community. In this energetic role, the individual is responsible for parking enforcement, public-facing customer service and maintaining a positive and professional presence in the community. This is a part-time seasonal position.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the enforcement and issuance of citations for parking violations of municipal and state laws, regulations, and ordinances.
- Issue citations or warnings to vehicles that are illegally parked or violate posted signage.
- Engage with the public courteously, providing information about parking rules and addressing concerns.
Requirements
- Using tact, discretion, initiative, and independent judgment within established guidelines.
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to handle challenging situations calmly and effectively.
- Excellent customer service abilities to interact positively with the public and resolve issues diplomatically.
- Knowledge of local parking laws and enforcement procedures is a plus.
- Available for weekends & holidays
- Valid Massachusetts driver’s license.
Pay: $21.00 per hour
