What You Will Do
- Assist clients with essential daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and safe mobility transfers.
- Enhance the daily lives of local seniors through warm companionship and positive, friendly interaction.
- Handle routine household tasks like light tidying, laundry, and cooking nutritious meals.
- Drive or accompany clients to nearby medical appointments, pharmacy pick-ups, and grocery shopping.
- Ensure client safety and comfort by precisely following the established personal care plan.
What You Need to Apply
- Current New York State HHA or PCA certification (Required).
- Legal right to work in the United States.
- Dependable transportation to arrive punctually to your shifts in Yonkers (public or private transportation).
- Up-to-date medical compliance records, including a physical exam within 12 months, MMR immunity, and a PPD or QuantiFERON test.
- Strong, clear English speaking and listening skills.
- A deeply patient, dependable, and empathetic personality tailored for senior care.
