Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Med- Tech to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in patient care, with experience in various healthcare settings such as assisted living, nursing homes, and hospitals. This role requires a commitment to providing high-quality care to our residents. The Med- Tech will be responsible for adminisitering medications per DHS requirements and Physician orders, maintaining accurate documentation, and also completing care for the residents aong with other duries assigned.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including assistance with daily living activities and personal hygiene.
- Monitor and document vital signs and changes in patient conditions.
- Administer medications.
- Assist resients as needed.
- Maintain accurate medical records using QuickMar.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients, adhering to infection control protocols.
- Engage with patients in a compassionate manner, providing emotional support as needed.
- Participate in training sessions to stay updated on best practices.
Experience
Candidates should have experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Assisted living or senior care environments
- Nursing home or hospice care settings
- Working with individuals with developmental disabilities or dementia care experience
- Familiarity with medical terminology, anatomy, physiology knowledge, and vital signs monitoring
The ideal candidate will also demonstrate strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment while maintaining the highest standards of patient confidentiality and care quality.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.50 - $17.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
