Seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead the execution and delivery of hyperscale and enterprise data center projects. This role will manage all phases of construction from preconstruction through commissioning, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in mission-critical infrastructure, ground-up construction, and managing complex MEP scopes in fast-paced environments.
Project Management & Execution
- Lead day-to-day management of construction projects from inception through closeout
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and deliverables
- Coordinate with internal teams, engineers, contractors, and vendors to ensure alignment and execution
- Oversee general contractors and subcontractors to ensure compliance with project requirements
Preconstruction & Planning
- Collaborate with design, engineering, and procurement teams during planning phases
- Review drawings, specifications, and constructability to identify risks and opportunities
- Support budgeting, cost estimating, and value engineering initiatives
Stakeholder & Client Coordination
- Act as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders and external partners
- Provide regular project updates, reporting on schedule, cost, and risk mitigation
- Manage client expectations and ensure high levels of satisfaction
Quality, Safety & Compliance
- Ensure adherence to safety standards, OSHA regulations, and company policies
- Maintain quality control throughout construction lifecycle
- Oversee inspections, testing, and commissioning processes
Financial Management
- Monitor project financials, including budgets, forecasts, and cost controls
- Review and approve invoices, change orders, and contract modifications
- Identify and manage project risks impacting cost and schedule
Commissioning & Closeout
- Support commissioning activities and ensure readiness for operations
- Manage project closeout documentation, including as-builts and turnover packages
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5–10+ years of construction project management experience
- Proven experience delivering data centers, mission-critical facilities, or large-scale industrial projects
- Strong understanding of MEP systems (electrical, mechanical, cooling infrastructure)
- Experience managing ground-up builds and large capital projects ($20M+ preferred)
- Proficiency with project management tools (Procore, MS Project, Primavera, etc.)
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
Pay: $70.00 - $100.00 per hour
