Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Daycare Teacher to join our team. We are looking to fill in a part time position and must be flexible to work 8:30am- 12:00pm or 2:50pm -6:30pm, and one Saturday in the month. Candidate will be responsible for watching members children while they workout. The candidate will work 8-20hours a week plus filling in when needed.
The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their growth and development through engaging activities. This role requires a commitment to providing high-quality care and education for children in a daycare setting, ensuring their safety and well-being while promoting social, emotional, and cognitive development.
Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning through play.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively, ensuring a positive learning environment.
- Supervise children during activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Provide individualized attention to children, catering to their unique needs and abilities.
- Engage in daily communication with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment.
- Conduct regular assessments of children's development and progress.
- Clean and sanitize toys.
- Must be undergo background check.
- Must be available to fill in or pick up shifts when needed.
- Must be loyal to shift times
Morning: 8:30am- 12:00pm
Afternoon: 2:50 pm -6:30 pm
- Must work one Saturday out of the month, rotating between the team to clean the gym area and kids room.
Qualifications
- Experience in daycare or preschool settings is preferred.
- Strong skills in classroom management and behavior management.
- Knowledge of first aid and CPR is highly desirable.
- Experience working with children with disabilities is a plus.
- Ability to provide caregiving support for infants, toddlers and young children.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
- A genuine passion for working with children and fostering their development.
- Previous experience working with students or in educational settings is beneficial.
