Job Summary
We are actively seeking skilled and motivated Painters to join our dynamic team. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals with a passion for painting and a strong background in various painting techniques. The ideal candidate will have experience working on residential, commercial, and renovation projects, utilizing hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment such as airless paint sprayers. Duties
- Prepare surfaces thoroughly by cleaning, sanding, and applying primers to ensure optimal paint adhesion.
- Apply paints, stains, varnishes, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, spray equipment, and other hand tools.
- Read blueprints and schematics to accurately execute painting projects according to specifications.
- Perform surface repairs including plastering, caulking, and trim carpentry to achieve smooth finishes.
- Execute renovation and restoration projects on residential and commercial properties with attention to detail.
- Operate construction site equipment safely while adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
- Install fixtures, moldings, stucco, and perform masonry work as needed for comprehensive finishing.
- Utilize construction estimating skills to assess project scope and materials required for efficient completion.
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools, disposing of debris properly, and ensuring safety standards are met.
- Collaborate with team members on complex projects.
Experience
- Proven experience in manufactured painting projects with a strong understanding of manufactured home procedures.
- Familiarity with construction estimating, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and basic math calculations.
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, airless paint spraying equipment, and scaffolding setup.
- Knowledge of color theory for achieving desired aesthetic effects across various surfaces.
- Background in plastering, stucco application, masonry work, or remodeling projects is highly desirable.
- Experience working on renovation or restoration projects that require attention to detail and craftsmanship.
