Overview
Sales Representative in the oil and gas industry responsible for selling above ground storage tanks, containment pans, and skid tanks to our oil and gas distributors. The role combines sales expertise with technical knowledge of storage systems, regulatory compliance, and industry operations
Key Responsibilities
- Client Development & Relationship Management: Identify and develop new business opportunities while maintaining current client base by modeling accountability, high-performance sales behavior to build deeper relationships with our key clients.
- Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets in coordination with internal management team
- Negotiation & Closing: Review tank design options with clients to meet their specific needs and provide quotes, close the sale and follow through to a completed delivery.
- Market Awareness: Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes affecting storage tank sales
- Strategic Pricing: Monitor raw material prices and how it affects product pricing and sales.
Typical Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: Proven sales experience, preferably in the oil & gas or industrial equipment sector; 3+ years in sales roles preferred.
- Skills: Strong communication (Written & Verbal), negotiation, and presentation skills; technical understanding of storage systems; self-driven, organized, and motivated by performance compensation. Strong time management, discipline and follow-up with our clients.
- Work Ethics – Strong work ethic, high integrity, hands-on style collaboration and calm under pressure.
- Work Environment - Industrial Manufacturing
- 50% travel required to client sites, including remote or field locations.
- 50%—office-based sales planning and customer follow up
Pay: $50,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
