Now Hiring: Lead Head Start Preschool Teacher
Herrington Academy is seeking a dedicated and passionate Lead Head Start Preschool Teacher to join our early childhood education team. Experience with Teaching Strategies Gold (TSG) is preferred, as well as experience working with a Head Start Partnership Program. This is a contract position that runs from July through May (10 months). Please have your PDS number available at the time of application or upon request.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree in Early Childhood Education, or currently enrolled in the final semester of an Early Childhood Education program
- Knowledge of Georgia Child Care Rules and Regulations
- Professional, dependable, and organized
- Passion for working with young children
- Knowledge of the Quality Rated program
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Experience with Teaching Strategies Gold (TSG) preferred
- Experience working in a Head Start program preferred
