Duties
- Lead and manage multiple construction projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards
- Develop comprehensive project schedules
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to facilitate seamless communication and project execution
- Review blueprints, schematics, and contracts to ensure clarity and compliance with design specifications
- Oversee construction site activities, ensuring safety protocols are followed and work progresses efficiently
- Utilize construction estimating software to monitor progress and costs
- Manage procurement processes including subcontractor selection and contract negotiations
- Conduct regular site inspections to verify work quality and adherence to design plans
- Prepare detailed reports on project status, risks, and issues
- Ensure timely resolution of project challenges through effective project coordination and problem-solving skills
Skills
- Extensive experience with construction site management and construction management software
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, contracts, and construction estimating techniques
- Proficiency in project scheduling tools like Microsoft Project
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively
- Proven track record in construction management, including project coordination from start to finish
- Strong communication skills for liaising with clients, contractors, and team members
- Hands-on experience with construction site construction safety protocols and regulations
- Familiarity with management methodologies such as Lean or Agile practices is a plus
