Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and strategic Director of Preschool to join out administration team, leading our preschool program with passion and expertise. This role involves overseeing daily operations, guiding educational practices, managing faculty, and ensuring compliance with state licensing and our Health and Safety Standards. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic leader committed to fostering a nurturing, innovative, and high-quality preschool environment that supports the developmental needs of young learners.
Duties
- Provide visionary leadership in curriculum development, instructional leadership, and educational program quality.
- Manage personnel including supervising teachers, administrative staff, and support personnel to ensure a cohesive team aligned with organizational goals.
- Oversee school administrative functions such as budgeting, resource allocation, and compliance with legal requirements including special education law.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance program effectiveness, enrollment growth, and community engagement.
- Lead fundraising efforts to support program initiatives, facility improvements, and scholarship opportunities.
- Conduct faculty evaluations and manage personnel management processes to foster professional growth.
- Ensure adherence to all safety protocols, licensing regulations, and legal standards related to early childhood education.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience in school administration with a focus on preschool or early childhood education.
- Proven leadership skills in managing teams within an educational setting.
- Strong background in curriculum development, instructional leadership in education, and working with students from diverse backgrounds.
- Knowledge of school legal requirements including special education law and licensing standards.
- Experience managing budgets as an executive education administrator or school director.
- Excellent public speaking skills with the ability to communicate effectively with staff, parents, community partners, and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated success in strategic planning, fundraising initiatives, and school management.
- Classroom teaching experience in K-12 or early childhood settings is highly desirable.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
