Responsibilities
- Prepare food items according to established recipes and quality standards, ensuring consistency and freshness.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process customer orders swiftly and accurately.
- Manage food service customer orders from start to finish, including taking orders, upselling menu items, and handling special requests.
- Maintain a clean and sanitized workspace by following sanitation protocols and food safety guidelines.
- Handle cash register operations, processing cash transactions with accuracy while providing excellent customer service.
- Assist in operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently during food preparation shifts.
- Support retail sales transactions by promoting menu items through upselling techniques to enhance guest experience.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, handling, and safety management practices.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
- Excellent time management skills to handle high-volume periods effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to provide outstanding customer service with a friendly attitude.
- Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately.
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and maintain sanitation standards at all times.
- Food industry or restaurant experience is advantageous but not mandatory; a willingness to learn is essential.
