Position Summary
We are seeking a dynamic self-motivated individual to drive sales growth and expand market
presence throughout the Northeast region. The ideal candidate will have relationships in the
industry and challenge customers with a higher expectation. Candidate needs to have experience
selling ingredients, finished products, contract manufacturing services, or related offerings within
the cosmetics, personal care, beauty, or consumer packaged goods industries.
This role is responsible for developing new business opportunities, managing strategic customer
relationships, and achieving revenue targets within an established territory. The successful
candidate will serve as a trusted partner to customers while collaborating closely with internal
technical, marketing, and customer service teams.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute a territory sales strategy to achieve and exceed revenue objectives.
Identify, qualify, and secure new business opportunities within cosmetic, personal care,
skincare, haircare, and beauty brands.
Manage and grow relationships with existing accounts, ensuring high customer
satisfaction and retention.
Conduct customer meetings, presentations, product demonstrations, and technical
discussions.
Collaborate with R&D, product development, procurement, and marketing teams at
customer organizations.
Maintain an active sales pipeline and provide accurate forecasting through CRM systems.
Represent the company at industry trade shows, conferences, and networking events.
Negotiate pricing, contracts, and commercial agreements.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Chemistry, Life Sciences, or a related field
preferred.
3–15+ years of B2B sales experience in cosmetics, personal care, beauty, specialty
chemicals, ingredients, packaging, or contract manufacturing.
Demonstrated success meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Strong prospecting, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and commercial stakeholders.
Experience using CRM platforms such as Salesforce or HubSpot.
Willingness to travel extensively throughout the Northeast territory.
Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and highly organized.
Preferred Experience
Existing network within cosmetic and personal care manufacturers, brands, formulators,
or contract manufacturers.
Knowledge of skincare, haircare, color cosmetics, fragrance, or personal care product
development.
Experience selling ingredients, active materials, packaging components, or
manufacturing services.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
