Deer Park Kennels is looking to hire reliable PET LOVERS who are fast learners to become kennel attendants. We are currently looking for full time employees (5 days a week for the hours 7AM – 5PM with a 2 hr lunch break Noon-2pm) and part time employees (2-3 days a week for the hours 7AM – 5PM with a 2 hr lunch break from noon-2pm).
Job Responsibilities:
- Cleaning runs/floors/drains
- Feeding all residents
- Scooping/spraying outside runs
- Playing/Walking pets
- Laundry
- Dishes
Requirements:
- Must be willing to work Primarily Weekends and Holidays
- 16 years or older
- Able to work from 7AM - 5 PM
- Summer and Holidays are our busy season so please be prepared to work all major holidays including Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, Easter, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day.
- Basic math skills
- Able to work alone
This is a great job for college kids! We can provide seasonal employment as we are busiest when school is out and slow down when kids are in school.
We usually start just above minimum wage, but possible raises are allowed after evaluations, as well as summer and winter bonuses.
There is also room for growth with positions such as bathers, supervisors, and office staff.
This can be a fun job but it is a lot of work, it is not just like playing with dogs at your house!
