Habit Med Spa and Facial Bar is a membership-based skincare studio blending clinical-grade results with a holistic esthetics approach. We're not injectables-and-lasers — we're facials, waxing, brows, and lashes done exceptionally well, for members who trust us with their skin long-term. We're growing, and we need a marketing hire who can grow with us.
The Role
We're a small, growing business, and this role is built for someone who wants full ownership of marketing rather than one slice of it. As Marketing Manager, you will handle both the strategic and day-to-day coordination sides of the function — setting direction based on data and also personally executing content, campaigns, and website updates. You will report directly to ownership and have real influence over marketing direction, budget, and priorities. This is not a role where content coordination is outsourced or delegated to someone else on a team — you own the full cycle: plan it, shoot it, post it, measure it, adjust it.
Responsibilities
Strategy & Analytics
- Set overall marketing strategy and content direction in partnership with ownership
- Track social, email, and website analytics; report on what's working and recommend where to shift spend/effort
- Build and manage a content calendar aligned to membership promotions, seasonal services, and launches
- Own the marketing budget and prioritize where time and dollars go
Content & Marketing Coordination
- Plan, shoot, and edit photo and video content for use across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and Substack
- Write and manage the email newsletter and email/SMS campaign flows (promotions, retention, membership upsells)
- Maintain and update our Squarespace website — pages, promotions, service updates, basic SEO hygiene
- Write blog content that supports SEO and member education
- Manage day-to-day posting, scheduling, and community engagement across all platforms
- Coordinate any outside freelancers (e.g., for larger photo/video shoots) as needed
Requirements
- 2+ years in a marketing role with direct ownership of social media, email/SMS platforms, and a CMS (Squarespace strongly preferred)
- Demonstrated ability to read platform and campaign analytics and turn them into action, not just report numbers
- Strong photo/video content creation skills (phone-shot content, basic editing); videography/photography training a plus, not required
- Excellent writing for blog, email, and captions
- Experience with an email/SMS marketing platform (Klaviyo, Mailchimp, etc.)
- Comfortable owning a function end-to-end with minimal oversight, this is a small business, not a large marketing team
- Local/spa, beauty, wellness, or membership-based business experience a strong plus
- Portfolio or link to past social/content work required with application
