Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Cook/Dishwasher to join our culinary team. Duties

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment.
- Ensure proper food handling and storage practices are followed to maintain food safety standards.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient meal service and catering operations.
- Utilize knife skills for meal preparation, ensuring precision in cutting and presentation.
- Support the dietary department by assisting with special dietary requests as needed.
- Participate in regular kitchen cleaning tasks to uphold health regulations.
Requirements
- Previous experience in the food industry, particularly in a restaurant or catering environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations is essential.
- Experience as a dietary aide or in a dietary department is a plus.
- Strong cooking skills with the ability to prepare various types of cuisine.
- Knowledge of menu planning and meal preparation techniques is beneficial.
- Excellent knife skills and proficiency in food handling are required.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining attention to detail.
