Summary
The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for conducting initial in-home assessments, developing individualized non-medical care plans, discussing cost of care, and completing required supervisory visits in accordance with state regulations and franchise standards. This role supports non-medical caregivers and ensures services align with client needs, quality standards, and regulatory compliance. As a newly established agency, hours are based on client census and operational needs.
Qualifications
- Active RN license in North Carolina
- Minimum one (1) year of clinical experience (home health preferred)
- Strong assessment and documentation skills
- Experience supervising caregivers preferred
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to work flexible, as-needed schedule
Core Responsibilities
- Initial Client Assessments
- Conduct comprehensive in-home assessments for all new clients
- Identify functional, safety, and support needs
- Develop individualized non-medical care plans according to agency policy
- Care Plan Oversight
- Update care plans quarterly or when client condition changes
- Ensure services remain appropriate and compliant
- Communicate care plan changes to caregivers and leadership
- Caregiver Supervision
- Conduct supervisory visits per state guidelines
- Evaluate caregiver performance in the home
- Provide clinical guidance as needed
- Report quality or safety concerns to leadership
Compliance & Quality
- Maintain compliance with state non-medical home care regulations
- Participate in case reviews and quality assurance meetings
- Assist with audit preparation if needed

Pay: $35.00 - $43.00 per hour
