Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fry Cook to join our kitchen team. This position plays a vital role in executing consistent, high-quality fried items in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate has extensive experience working fry stations, a strong understanding of timing and food safety, and a commitment to delivering excellent results with speed and accuracy.
Line Cook (Fryer) Full-Time/Part-Time Position
Rate: $21.50/hour and Tips

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain deep fryers and associated equipment during high-volume service
- Cook proteins, vegetables, and other items to perfection—crispy, golden, and consistent
- Ensure proper battering, breading, and portioning of fried foods
- Monitor oil quality and temperature to ensure optimal cooking conditions
- Follow established recipes and plating guidelines to maintain quality and consistency
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the fry station throughout service
- Assist with prep, including breading, portioning, and stocking the station
- Adhere to all food safety, sanitation, and kitchen hygiene protocols
- Rotate product using FIFO and minimize waste through attention to prep and portioning
- Work closely with other cooks to ensure timely, coordinated service
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of experience working a high-volume fry station
- Strong understanding of fryer operation, oil management, and safety procedures
- Skilled in prepping, breading, and frying a variety of items with consistency
- Attention to detail, timing, and cleanliness under pressure
- Team-oriented with excellent communication skills
- Food Handler’s Certification
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
