Full Job Description

Loads and unloads dryers according to production standards and performs custodial duties as required.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES

· Operate load and unload dryers with linens according to production standards

· Ensure that each cart is labeled correctly by customer

· Condition wet linen (pillowcases/fitted sheets) for ironing

· Move conditioned linens from dry deck to ironers

· Clean personal work area and public areas each day

MINOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Dry and fold linens as needed

· Sort linens of different sizes to remove stained and torn items

· Assists Terry Department while dryers are in operation

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Ability to operate laundry machinery
Ability to maintain the production standards set forth by the Production Manager
Ability to work with little to no supervision
Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends
Ability to read and write English and perform basic math functions
Ability to lift up to 60 pounds on a regular basis
Ability to stand at production work stations for extended periods of time
