Job Overview
We are seeking a hands-on, curious, and motivated Assistant Industrial Mechanical Technician to work alongside experienced engineers and technicians in maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving our production equipment. Responsibilities
- Assist with preventive maintenance, inspections, lubrication, and routine servicing of manufacturing and filling equipment.
- Work alongside senior technicians to diagnose and repair mechanical and basic electrical issues while building your technical skills.
- Help set up and adjust production equipment—including tube filling machinery—for different product runs.
- Look for opportunities to make maintenance procedures, equipment reliability, and workflows more efficient.
- Support equipment installations, upgrades, and continuous improvement projects as we scale our manufacturing operation.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, inventory updates, and equipment documentation.
- Keep tools, work areas, and equipment clean, organized, and inspection-ready.
- Follow FDA, cGMP, and OSHA requirements while helping maintain a culture of safety and quality.
Requirements
- 0–2 years of hands-on experience, technical training, or coursework in industrial maintenance, mechanical systems, manufacturing, or a related field.
- Experience with tube filler set up and maintenance
- Basic understanding of mechanical systems; exposure to electrical troubleshooting is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex mechanical issues quickly
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing setting
