The Wound Nurse is a registered licensed nurse designated to act as the coordinator of the facility's wound care program. The Wound Nurse is responsible to coordinate and lead weekly/daily wound team rounds and processes, including wound monitoring and measurements, care plan reviews, treatment recommendations, physician orders, and required documentation.
Position Requirements
Washington state RN License. Certification in wound care or CEs leading to a certification is preferred. Prior wound care experience is required.
Duties:
- Perform comprehensive assessments of patients' health status and wounds
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor and record any changes in patients' conditions
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatment plans, and self-care techniques
- Adhere to all HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality
- Follow sterile processing protocols to maintain a clean and safe environment

Pay: $45.00 - $53.00 per hour
