A well-established nonprofit organization in the Boston area is seeking a Bilingual Operations/Scheduling Coordinator to join their team on a temp-to-hire basis. This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong administrative and scheduling background who enjoys working with people and coordinating across multiple departments.
The Operations/Scheduling Coordinator will primarily support scheduling and day-to-day coordination with referral agencies and clients’ families. This person will also work closely with internal teams including Payroll, Billing, Client Intake, Operations, and other administrative functions to ensure schedules, communication, and client needs are handled efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage client schedules and related administrative needs
- Communicate regularly with referral agencies, clients, and families
- Work closely with internal departments to ensure accurate and timely information
- Assist with client intake, billing, payroll coordination, and general operations
- Maintain accurate records, documentation, and scheduling information
- Respond to questions and resolve scheduling or administrative issues
- Support day-to-day operational needs and other administrative projects as needed
- Build positive relationships with clients, families, agency partners, and internal teams
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; Associate’s degree with relevant experience will be considered
- 3–5+ years of scheduling and administrative experience
- Healthcare, home care, human services, or nonprofit experience strongly preferred
- Bilingual English/Spanish required
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Comfortable working across multiple departments and managing competing priorities
- Demonstrated growth, stability, and commitment throughout previous positions
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer systems
