Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic pediatric therapy team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pediatric care, with experience working across various settings. As an Occupational Therapist, you will develop personalized care plans to support children’s development and independence, assisting with activities of daily living and facilitating discharge planning to ensure seamless transitions for our patients.
Duties
- Assess children’s functional abilities and develop individualized treatment plans aimed at improving motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living activities.
- Implement therapeutic interventions tailored to children with diverse needs, including those with autism spectrum disorder, disabilities, or developmental delays.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as dressing, grooming, feeding, and toileting to promote independence.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and ensure comprehensive treatment approaches.
- Facilitate discharge planning by preparing families and caregivers for ongoing therapy needs.
- Participate in case management activities to monitor progress and adjust treatment strategies accordingly.
- Document patient progress accurately within electronic health records while maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations.

Requirements
Master’s degree or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
Active North Carolina Occupational Therapist license, or eligibility for licensure
Passion for working with pediatric clients
