Alianza Preschool is a Spanish immersion early childhood program inspired by the Reggio Emilia philosophy. We are seeking a passionate and nurturing Lead Preschool Teacher to join our team in Houston.

Responsibilities
- Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment.
- Implement developmentally appropriate activities that support children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth.
- Follow and adapt lesson plans based on children's interests and developmental needs.
- Maintain positive communication with families through daily updates and classroom documentation.
- Supervise and support classroom assistants while fostering teamwork and collaboration.
- Observe and document children's progress throughout the school year.
- Maintain classroom organization, cleanliness, and compliance with licensing requirements.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development opportunities, and school events.
- Support Alianza Preschool's mission of providing a high-quality Spanish immersion educational experience.
Skills
- Fluent Spanish speaker required.
- Experience working with preschool-aged children preferred.
- CDA, Associate Degree, or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and coworkers.
- Passion for early childhood education and child development.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Experience in a Reggio Emilia-inspired or Spanish immersion environment is a plus.
