Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and experienced CDL Truck Driver specializing in container transportation to join our dynamic logistics team. In this role, you will operate tractor-trailers to transport shipping containers efficiently and safely across designated routes. We need expertise in intermodal services PORT, BNSF ETC. MONDAY - FRIDAY some weekend work .
Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers with manual transmission to transport containers across local and regional routes.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety, compliance with regulations, and proper functioning of all systems.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, delivery records, and route documentation in accordance with federal and state regulations.
- Route planning to optimize delivery schedules while adhering to safety protocols and delivery deadlines.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse personnel, and customers to coordinate pickups and deliveries efficiently.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL license with a clean driving record; experience operating manual transmission trucks preferred. 3 YEARS of driving experience
- NO SAP must have TWIC CARD
- Proven truck driving experience with a focus on freight delivery, including container transport
- Knowledge of route driving best practices along with compliance to safety regulations and DOT standards.
- Strong physical stamina for handling freight loads and performing vehicle inspections regularly.
Pay: $1,200.00 - $1,700.00 per week
