Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Principal to lead our educational institution. The Principal will oversee the day-to-day operations, academic programs, and staff to ensure a nurturing and successful learning environment for all students. Principal must have experience leading special education programs.
Responsibilities:
Must have Principal License (Type 75) Issued by the State of Illinois and LBS 1 endorsement to be considered as a viable candidate.
- Supervise and support teaching staff to maintain high standards of teaching and learning
- Develop and implement educational policies and procedures
- Lead strategic planning initiatives to enhance the school's performance and reputation
- Conduct regular classroom observations to assess teaching methods and student engagement
- Represent the school in public forums, meetings, and events
- Foster a positive school culture that promotes academic excellence, respect, and inclusivity
Requirements:
- Special education experience and Master's degree required
- Proven experience in a senior leadership role within an educational institution
- Strong public speaking skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Ability to lead, motivate, and inspire a team of educators towards a common goal
- Excellent classroom management skills and understanding of educational best practices
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
