American Traveler is hiring an ER RN for a 13-week travel assignment requiring 2+ years of ER experience and BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.

Work in a 14-bed Emergency Room within a community hospital setting
-
Care for all patient populations including geriatric, adult, and pediatric cases
-
Patient ratios of 1:4-5
-
Uses Baxter pumps and Spacelabs cardiac monitors
-
Utilizes MedHost EHR system
-
Day shift schedule from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM
-
Weekend coverage required every other weekend as needed
-
No call requirements
-
No floating requirements specified

Active RN license (VA or Compact) currently in hand

Current certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)

Minimum of 2 years of ER experience required

Trauma experience preferred

MedHost EHR experience preferred

Provide emergency room nursing care across all patient age groups and acuity levels

Facility has earned the Joint Commission's Gold Seal of Approval
-
Weekly orientation held on Mondays

Scrub color is solid, any color

Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for the travel rate

Candidates cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months

Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full-time
