We are looking for a customer service-oriented Junior IT Support Specialist to provide technical support to a customer in the education segment in an efficient and accurate manner. You will be considered as the firm’s front liner, and you will solve technical problems and provide support for all assigned areas. The goal is to make sure that customer value is maintained to the standards set forth by the company.
The candidate will be responsible of providing on-site support and repair of computer systems, networks, servers, and peripheral devices for one customer on the education segment.
Requirement
- College degree on Computer Sciences.
- Minimum 3-year experience performing related tasks.
- Knowledge and certifications on Microsoft Cloud Platforms - Microsoft 365
- Knowledge on Microsoft Windows PC platforms – Windows 11, Windows 10 and others.
- Knowledge on Microsoft Windows Server platforms
- Knowledge on Networking configuration and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge on Microsoft Active Directory.
- Basic Knowledge on Firewalls and routers – Fortinet.
- Basic Knowledge in WiFi brands like Ubiquiti
- Bilingual (English and Spanish must be spoken and written).
- Car is needed.
Responsibilities
- Provide first level contact and convey resolutions to customer issues.
- Properly escalate unresolved queries to the next level of support.
- Track, route, and redirect problems to correct resources.
- Update customer data and produce activity reports.
- Walk customers through problem solving process.
- Follow up with customers, provide feedback and see problems through to resolution.
- Utilize excellent customer service skills and exceed customers’ expectations.
- Ensure proper recording, documentation and closure on company’s ticketing platform.
- Recommended procedure modifications or improvements
- Preserve and grow your knowledge of help desk procedures, products and services.
Skills
- Proven working experience in providing help desk support.
- Proficiency in English
- Working knowledge of help desk software, and remote control
- Strong client-facing and communication skills
- Advanced troubleshooting and multi-tasking skills
- Customer service orientation

- 8- hour Shift with possible over time as needed

- Customers' facilities in San Juan area
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
