The Position:
Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of St. Louis through our service line of St. Patrick Center, is hiring a Outreach Specialists to join our Services for Veteran Families (SSVF) program. The outreach specialists will provide support to unhoused veterans across the rural county areas (Warren, St. Charles, St. Francois, Franklin, Washington, Lincoln, and Jefferson counties of Missouri). These outreach specialists will explore and investigate areas where potential clients may be staying and engage individuals in conversations regarding health concerns, substance use, mental health disorders, and necessary supplies. The right candidates will have experience working in a social service agency and with the unhoused community. The specialists will need to be familiar with appropriate and available community resources. The core working hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am-4:30 pm.
