Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service throughout their shopping journey
- Assist customers with product demos, explaining features and benefits clearly to enhance their understanding and satisfaction
- Manage stock levels by merchandising displays, stocking shelves, and organizing products for optimal presentation
- Conduct sales transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems while handling cash and credit payments responsibly
- Upsell relevant products by identifying customer needs and recommending complementary items to increase sales
- Maintain store cleanliness, organize merchandise, and ensure shelves are well-stocked and visually appealing
- Support supervising staff in training new team members, overseeing daily operations, and ensuring store policies are followed
Skills
- Proven experience in retail sales or grocery store environments with strong merchandising skills
- Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership qualities in a retail setting
- Ability to perform product demos confidently while engaging customers effectively
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills to assist customers both in-store and over the phone
- Skilled in upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining customer trust
- Basic math proficiency for handling cash transactions, POS operations, and retail math calculations
- Strong customer service orientation with exceptional phone etiquette and communication skills
