Potter Chiropractic is seeking a dependable, compassionate, and skilled massage therapist to join our established healthcare team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys therapeutic, patient-focused massage and wants to work in a professional chiropractic clinic with an existing patient base.
We have served the Faribault community for more than 20 years and provide chiropractic care, massage therapy, acupuncture, rehabilitation, and other conservative healthcare services. Our office is busy, friendly, and team-oriented, with a strong focus on helping patients reduce pain, recover from injuries, and improve their overall function.
Position responsibilities include:
- Providing therapeutic massage based on each patient’s condition, symptoms, and treatment goals
- Working with patients experiencing neck pain, back pain, headaches, muscle tension, work injuries, automobile injuries, and other musculoskeletal conditions
- Adapting massage techniques, pressure, and treatment areas according to patient tolerance and clinical needs
- Communicating with patients regarding comfort, pressure, symptoms, and response to treatment
- Coordinating with the chiropractor and other members of the clinical team when appropriate
- Completing timely and accurate treatment documentation
- Maintaining patient privacy and confidentiality
- Keeping the massage room, linens, supplies, and equipment clean and organized
- Staying on schedule while providing attentive, high-quality care
- Creating a professional, welcoming, and comfortable experience for every patient
Ideal candidate:
- Graduate of an accredited massage therapy program
- Holds any certification, registration, or professional credentials required to practice massage therapy
- Professional, dependable, punctual, and organized
- Friendly and comfortable working with a wide variety of patients
- Interested in therapeutic and clinically focused massage
- Able to modify treatment based on injuries, pain levels, and patient needs
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a healthcare team
- Strong communication and patient-care skills
- Able to manage back-to-back appointments and remain on schedule
- Willing to complete accurate clinical documentation
- Previous experience in a chiropractic, rehabilitation, medical, or therapeutic setting is helpful but not required
