Job Title: Media Manager
Reports To: Executive Director
Basic Function: The Media Manager is responsible for providing leadership in the areas of music, visual, sound, and pastoral care of music leaders. He/She is to use the position to develop praise and worship, singularly and corporately, for Teen F.L.O.W. Youth Ministries by and through instruction, guidance, and opportunities for sound moral music.
Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have the following: A minimum of an Associates degree in media or related field; preferred bachelor's degree; 2-5 years of Praise & Worship, and media production experience; ability to work independently with minimum supervision, take initiative, handle emergency situations in a professional, efficient manner. Possess a valid unencumbered driver’s license, a personal vehicle, and able to travel for Teen F.L.O.W. as well as the ability to pass a criminal background check.
Schedule: This is a part-time role, serving up to 30 hours a week.
Physical Requirements: Physical strength/endurance to enable him/her to perform/participate in the following activities:
- Physically able to lift various materials up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis.
- While performing required job tasks, physically able to bend, crouch, and reach continuously.
- While performing required job tasks, physically able to remain seated, frequently to continuously.
- While performing required job tasks, physically able to remain standing up to 40% of the time.
- Possesses dexterity abilities required to operate a computer and other office equipment to perform related job responsibilities.
- This position requires frequent travel and the ability to drive.
General Responsibilities:
- Maintain, and establish, all responsibilities for the praise & worship team
- Provide spiritual and musical instruction, guidance, standards, and supervision to: P&W team as well as Sound and Media team
- Direct and support the spiritual growth of Teen F.L.O.W. members through small groups, bible study, service to others, and fellowship opportunities.
- Provide a setting for worship free of hindrances; stage, sound/visual presentations, and working areas.
- Communicate all progress, plans, developments, etc., through weekly staff meetings and as necessary planned meetings with the Leadership Team(s).
- Coordinating and setting up all equipment ready for praise and worship production
- Record and edit video announcements for the week
- Prior planning for P&W teams on song choice
- Creating schedules for song reviews, edits/transposing
- Direct organization systems to support a sustainable model of ministry
- Conduct talent reviews in talent, songs, skits
- Assist in conducting program production run-throughs
Outreach responsibilities:
- Assist Program team with outreach efforts in the community and MISD
- Promote Leadership for expansion to grow as a family in Christ.

- Ability to handle highly confidential material, understanding that all Teen F.L.O.W. should only be disclosed to others who have a need to know, for legitimate business reasons. Have the ability to exercise and apply sound judgment and decision-making skills as well as the ability to maintain integrity and confidentiality of data.
- Striving to exalt our Heavenly Father in the highest, and make it known to everyone that He is worthy of all praise.
- Ability to establish and grow the love of God in leading our Teen F.L.O.W. members into the spirit of worship and praise.
- The results of a healthy P&W team derive from a leader with a strong, but compassionate, character that has his/her family and finances in order in accordance with the Scripture and pastoral sensitivity.
- Effectiveness in ministry skills within the areas stated above, is due to prior experiences, having the knowledge of styles/trends, and feeling comfortable with transitional and contemporary.
- Coordinate playlist in accordance with message topic or special events.
- Is knowledgeable of social services, civic organizations, churches, and local high schools
- Creates an environment that is safe and respectful for all cultural backgrounds, gender identities, races, ability levels, and developmental needs. Fosters creative thinking, reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
- Set the spiritual example of encouraging the freedom of worship styles and music through creative and innovative methods while being biblically based.
- Shall be humble, not using his/her personal music other than recognition unto the Lord.
- Ensure the compliance of Teen F.L.O.W. mission and visions; serve teen members through P&W; coordinate and attend community events.
- Possesses exemplary customer skills, including dealing effectively with the general public both in person, through electronic media, and over the telephone. Demonstrates understanding and sensitivity to the needs of all prospective as well as Teen F.L.O.W.
- Ability to work effectively, decisively, and flexibly in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Ability to identify problems and propose feasible solutions. Strong organizational skills and the ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Solid acknowledgment of Apple Mac/Microsoft Office software (Specifically, Pages, Word, Excel, and Photoshop or Canva).
- Self-motivated to stay current with emerging office technologies.
- Communicate and oversee Media, Banners, Ushers, Lights, etc. ministries.
- Display announcement slides at the entrance TV
- Have a playlist prepared for music sound inside and out.
- Able to effectively process forms; verify data for accuracy, completeness, and compliance within established procedures; enter data into the computer system, monitor, and maintain confidential files and data; identify problems and propose feasible solutions.
- Ability to prepare narrative reports in a timely manner. Ability to effectively express ideas effectively in oral and written form.
- Ability to accept supervision, assignments, change, and correction. Proven effectiveness in dealing with a wide range of professionals, staff, and administrators.
- Ability to balance priorities to accomplish assigned tasks within the required time frame and to be able to shift quickly between several tasks without loss of continuity.
- Engage in meaningful and intentional professional development appropriate for areas of responsibility.
- Carry out all responsibilities and objectives in a professional manner
- Maintain professionalism when dealing with all Teen F.L.O.W. members and other supporters, while fostering a positive working relationship.

- Adhere to Teen F.L.O.W.’s vision, goals, schedules, Statement of Faith, and Mission Statement.
- Adhere to the policies/procedures and Bylaws established by Teen F.L.O.W., the Board of Directors, the Non-Profit Corporation Act, and the Articles of Incorporation, and 501 C3 requirements.
