Overview
We are seeking an experienced Architectural Millwork Sales professional with at least 3 years of field experience. This role is ideal for someone with a strong construction background—such as a builder, construction project manager, or field supervisor—who understands the complexities of high-end residential construction and custom millwork.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, developers, and internal mill shop teams to review blueprints and define project scope
- Develop detailed millwork specifications for custom residential projects
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and industry partners
- Interpret blueprints, perform site evaluations, and prepare accurate project estimates
- Deliver tailored millwork solutions aligned with client vision, budget, and timeline
- Ensure seamless coordination from initial concept through final production and installation
Duties
- Develop and achieve sales within the region regarding molding & custom millwork.
- Develop new business relationships with construction and building developers while nurturing existing customers.
- Ability to work with customers, contractors and architects to understand their vision
- Visit active job sites to assess conditions and gather project requirements.
- Review drawings, project plans, and specifications and work closely with architects, builders, and contractors to clarify design intent and millwork details.
- Communicate and ensure complete understanding project details to customers.
- Review and interpret architectural blueprints and construction drawings with precision.
- Develop and present custom millwork solutions tailored to each project.
- Obtain subcontractor and vendor quotes when necessary to provide full coverage of work in proposals.
- Participate in pre-bid meetings & site visits as required for documentation and cost estimation.
- Prepare RFQs and RFPs with accuracy and in a timely fashion.
- Procuring materials in a timely manner while adhering to budget and schedule plans
- Coordinate with internal mill shop teams to ensure accurate execution of designs.
- Process orders in an accurate and timely manner.
- Arranges for return and credit of defective product, process cash sale returns, and refund paperwork.
- Prepare estimates, proposals, and scope documentation
- Ensure all project details are finalized prior to production
- Maintain strong client relationships throughout the project lifecycle
- Adheres to company policies, processes, and procedures.
- Ability to travel to and walk around job sites.
Experience
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of related experience
- Technical and computer skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and multi-task.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints measurements.
- Ability to read and interpret bid specifications, proposals, and drawings.
- Ability to gather and analyze information pertinent to business goals
Skills, Licensing & Certifications:
- Valid state driver's license

Typical schedule: Monday through Friday
Travel: extensively, 70% sites and 30% office.
Pay: $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
