WesTex Urgent Care is seeking a compassionate, motivated, and confident Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our growing team. What You'll Do
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages with acute illnesses and injuries.
- Order and interpret lab work, X-rays, EKGs, and other diagnostic testing.
- Prescribe medications and develop evidence-based treatment plans.
- Perform common urgent care procedures, including:
- Laceration repair (sutures, staples, skin adhesive)
- Incision and drainage (I&D)
- Splinting and stabilization of minor fractures
- Foreign body removal
- Wound care and local anesthesia
- Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care.
- Maintain accurate EMR documentation and collaborate with physicians and clinical staff.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
- Active Texas NP or PA license.
- Current DEA registration.
- Board Certified (ANCC, AANP, or NCCPA).
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications (PALS preferred).
- At least 2 years of experience in Urgent Care, Emergency Medicine, or Family Practice preferred. New graduates with strong emergency or acute care clinical rotations are encouraged to apply.

Pay: $130,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
